Womb Records is a small independent label originally set up to promote the music of LISTEN WITH SARAH. We are expanding our repertoire with a series of releases from other artists throughout 2007. Womb is run by Peter and Sarah Nelson. We are dedicated to variety.

Womb was a ‘DIY Label of the Week’ on Huw Stephens’ show (BBC Radio 1, May 31^st 2007).

WOMB101DD / LISTEN WITH SARAH “Are You Sitting Comfortably?” Digital-Only Album Release Date: May 2007 Digital-only re-release of the LWS debut album of 2004, minus the original opening tune, “Animal Hop,” which was the subject of copyright issues. (The CD release was eventually withdrawn from sale in 2005.) Available from iTunes, Napster and various digital outlets.

WOMB103 / ERGO PHIZMIZ “Nose Points In Different Directions : Music By Ergo Phizmiz 2001 – 2006” CD Album (+ digital download) Release Date: 29^th January 2007 A retrospective of choice cuts from the past five years of musical activity from Ergo Phizmiz. Featuring rare cuts, previously unreleased tracks, and excerpts from Ergo's work for radio, soundtracks, installations, and short-run releases. All tracks have been remastered for sound quality. ‘Nose Points…’ comes in a beautiful purple and yellow digipack with matching booklet (here) ~ original artwork by Ergo Phizmiz.

WOMB104 / ERGO PHIZMIZ & HIS ORCHESTRA “Arff & Beef” Cdr Album (100 copies only) – SOLD OUT Release Date: 29^th January 2007 “Arff & Beef” is a collection of Ergo’s remarkable interpretations of some well known contemporary R&B songs, and his reworking of the entire Velvet Underground album “White Light White Heat”. This is a numbered cdr issue of 100 – SOLD OUT
